TrueDPM

TrueDPM is a flexible monitoring system that can instrument and report on activity of a variety of automation equipment through interfaces with various controllers. This includes CNC for machine tools, Robot controllers, PLC's and other similar automation equipment. Any process can be monitored and distributed across the network in real time and all events are date and time stamped and stored in a relational database.

Thedra's DPM Software operates with many compatible machine protocols that are available on many systems. Data points such as Cycle Start, Feed hold, Alarm conditions, Feed Rate override, Spindle override, Axis limits commonly found on CNC systems. In other automation equipment incorporating PLC's or other similar devices, signals that are digital or analog or any discrete point can be instrumented. With one user interface for many different machine controllers the monitoring is consistent across a diversity of machines. This makes a plant appear uniform and normalized from a machine perspective allowing the user to focus on operational and support requirements for all machines in their facilities.

The complete DPM software system is composed of several modules, a development suite of software in DPM Admin to allow designing the monitoring scheme and all related display screens. DPM-RT a runtime package that executes the designed monitoring scheme and stores all events in the database as defined in the DPM Admin modules. A DPM View system allows authorized personnel to view any system in real time from any location on the network. DPM View also supports a view of the past performance through the DPM Chart module or to playback the past operation of any system through the DPM VCR module.
